Activities

The main activity of the project is carried out at the Bay of Ieranto within the project “La Baia in Fondo al Sentiero” promoted by the AMP Punta Campanella in collaboration with the FAI and the MAREA Outdoors Association.

Here the volunteers are engaged in activities such as monitoring and monitoring of the Bay, data collection on tourist presences, monitoring of illegal fishing, information and awareness-raising activities in kayaking and snorkeling, management of the information point located at the entrance of the quarry, etc. Their work will be essential to be able to guard the Bay throughout the period from June 1 to September 30.

The volunteers will also be engaged in activities such as beach and sea cleaning, promotion of the Park in local fairs and festivals, recovery and release of sea turtles, environmental education activities in schools and during banquets and events …

Cultural exchange is essential, so there are also many activities to explore the cultural diversity we have: cultural night, presentation of marine protected areas and biodiversity of each country …
